Two of my HP lap tops and a HP Laserjet printer were all sabotaged in one week, November 11 - 18, 2009, their recovery discs and the discs for my Adobe Master Collection software and upgrades costing $3,000 were deliberately scratched so I could not recover quickly, easily or inexpensively. Detailed description.
The "AMD" lap top I use for internet access and web support crashed Wednesday evening, November 11th after I downloaded a Wordpress update from a link on the administrative panel of my Happiness Blog - http://HappinessBlog.com
For security reasons, the "Burney" lap top I use for writing and program development never touches the internet. It crashed Tuesday, November 17th after I plugged it into my HP Laserjet printer. A good deal of technical sophistication is needed to sabotage a PC with a printer.
The Recovery Discs for both PCs were deliberately scratched. They were kept in plastic cases that were sealed in a plastic bag for protection and hidden in my van.
The Discs for my Adobe Master Collection and Upgrades costing $3,000 were also deliberately scratched. This is the software I use for my writing, book, web and video production. These discs were also hidden in my van.
I did not discover the software disc vandalism until I needed the discs to recover my systems.
Someone wants to keep me from bringing Happiness In Hard Times to market.
Hey, that was interesting,
So if you hid them in your van how would someone know that they were in there to get ruined?
Thanks for writing about it
Answer: They knew I had it and searched the van until they found it.
